Ronald Buczek, DO, is a cosmetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery specialist at Woodlands Hand To Shoulder Foot and Ankle Center in Shenandoah, Sugarland, and Humble, Texas. He specializes in hand surgery, specifically fracture, tendon, microvascular, and burn surgeries.
Dr. Buczek attended medical school at the University of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed a four-year residency, during which time he was Chief Surgical Resident for two years. He then completed a one-year fellowship in the Philadelphia area before pursuing further training in London at Guy’s St. Thomas Hospital.
Dr. Buczek is certified in microvascular surgery and is an Adjunct Professor of Surgery at DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee. He is the medical director at Townsen Memorial Hospital in Humble, Texas, and lectures throughout the United States to surgeons on skin graft substitutes. Dr. Buczek is also on the lecture panel for TRX® Surgical.
