About Dr. Kobza


The hand, elbow, shoulder, and wrist treatment procedures at Woodlands Hand to Shoulder are handled by Dr. Paul E. Kobza, a board-certified surgeon specializing in surgery of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. Dr. Kobza is fellowship-trained from the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine. His area of expertise includes surgical and medical treatment of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand.


The specialty treatments Dr. Kobza provides include arthroscopic and endoscopic surgery, as well as arthritis treatment, endoscopic carpal tunnel release, sports medicine, fracture surgery, repair and reconstruction of torn ligaments and tendons, joint replacement, neurovascular repair, and soft tissue repair.

About Dr. Buczek

Dr. Ronald Buczek joins Dr. Kobza at Woodlands Hand to Shoulder, specializing in hand surgery, specifically fractures, and tendons. He also performs microvascular and burn surgery. Dr. Buczek also lectures throughout the United States to surgeons on skin graft substitutes and is on the lecture panel for TRX Surgical.


Dr. Buczek attended medical school at the University of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, IA. He followed that up by completing a four-year residency, during which time he was chief surgical resident for two years. He then completed a one-year fellowship in the Philadelphia area before pursuing further training and education in London, England at Guy’s St. Thomas Hospital. Dr. Buczek is certified in microvascular surgery and is currently an Adjunct Professor of Surgery at DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is currently medical director at Townsen Memorial Hospital Humble, Texas.
